KEY CABINETS
The Rottner key cabinets and safes are designed to suit the needs of a private home, small or large business, where one or several people need to have access to the safe.
Electronic locking key cabinets can have a master and a user code programmed, the larger sizes of the Keytronic also have a drop slot on the side, to be able to safely deposit keys without having to open the safe. Single wall key cabinets in the Rottner S range will hold up to 300 keys, with a key or electronic lock option.

The key cabinet is a lockable security container, usually made of sheet metal or steel that comfortably accommodates your keys. The keys will be stored in one place and will always be at hand. The keys inside will hang on hooks/hook strips, which are height adjustable. When choosing the key cabinet, you can choose from several types of locks.
You can keep your personal keys in the key box. Especially for large companies, a decent key cabinet is mandatory.
Your keys are clearly arranged. The annoying search is a thing of the past.
Private
If you have just a small number of keys, you can also choose a practical key cassette/ box. But if you have a lot of keys then we advise the purchase of a key cabinet.
Commercial
A key cassette will not be efficient in the case of a large company; a key cabinet is a right choice. Decide on the correct key storage unit and you will enjoy the benefit of optimal storage!

Outdoor installation
Wall mounting
Please pay attention! Outdoor, a weatherproof key cabinet is needed - wind, rain, snow, sun – all these factors will need to be taken into consideration.
Another important factor is the wall texture. Are your external wall insulated? If yes, what material was it used? The key cabinet is mounted using screws. A double-bitted key lock is a good choice for the outside environment. The electronic lock is not compatible with weather conditions.
Indoor assembly
Indoors, the weather does not affect your key cabinet. Here you can also use an electronic lock.
Anchoring/ mounting
Depending on the size and the number of the keys you own, the weight may vary. The weight is not an issue when the right mounting material is used. Maybe your key cabinet even needs to be walled in - make sure you consider the condition of the wall!

In principle, it’s a simple process:
- Lock the key cabinet using one of the two keys provided, for the key lock version,
- Enter the correct number combination for the electronic lock and mechanical combination lock,
- Use your fingerprint for the biometric lock.
